Correct Solution :-

12x - 8 = 9 - 4x

12x + 4x = 9 + 8

[ Here, " - " sign is a error because we transpose -4x to LHS so it will change into +4x ]

16x = 17

x = 17/16

Hence, The value of x is 17/16 $.$
