Answer:

• 12,18,8,12

Product of means = Product of the extremes

hence,

Product of means = 18 x 8 = 144

Product of the extremes = 12 x 12 = 144

so, 12:18::8:12

• 30, 45,16,24

Product of means = Product of the extremes

hence,

Product of means = 45 x 16 = 720

Product of the extremes = 30 x 24 = 720

so, 30:45::16:24

• 6,10,18,35

Product of means = Product of the extremes

hence,

Product of means = 10 x 18 = 180

Product of the extremes = 6 x 35 = 210

so, 6,10,18,35 are not in proportion

• 25,30,40,48

Product of means = Product of the extremes

hence,

Product of means = 30 x 40 = 1200

Product of the extremes = 25 x 48 = 1200

so, 25:30::40:48
