1) Smoking and Drugs.

2) Smokers are more likely than nonsmokers to develop heart disease, stroke, and lung cancer. Estimates show smoking increases the risk: For coronary heart disease by 2 to 4 times.

3) Giving real figures to smokers does not prevent from smoking because:

• Many of the real figures are in the form of probabilistic estimates, & evidence shows that people are very bad at processing & understanding this kind of information.

• All smokers seems to have an uncle or auntie who has been smoking cigarettes since they were 12, lived to 90, & died because they fell down the stairs. Reliance on this kind of evidence & not being able to cope with probabilistic data form the two main foundation stones of people's assessment of risk.

• A third is reliance on press-published danger and causes death.

4)  The Following are the ways:

• Guessing the results. One cant completely predicts the outcome, but to an extent can imagine what the outcome can turn to. Thereby one can take precaution.

• By knowing the merits of right and demerits or wrong. This can only be achieved by gaining knowledge and experience.

• Being a human is being a social person. One has commitments to each other. Commitments and care can impact a person.
