• 22kg 200g of potatoes

       we know that 1g = $\frac{1}{1000} kg$

       So $200g=\frac{200}{1000}$

       200g = 0.2kg

       22kg + 0.2 kg = 22.2 kg

• 8kg 80g of tomatoes

        $1g=\frac{1}{1000} \\80g=\frac{80}{1000}$

        80g= 0.08kg

        8 kg + 0.08 kg = 8.08 kg

Here the total weight = weight of potato + weight of tomatoes + weight of sugar

=22.2 + 8.08 + 12

= 42.28 kg

Hence the total weight is 42.28 kg
