Hence, @ rate of $0.2 per chip-

In Aug - out of 400 chips 50 are shipped. Remaining 350 will incur a rental of 350 x 0.2 = $70    

In Sep - out of 350 chips 50 are shipped. Remaining 300 will incur a rental of 300 x 0.2 = $60    

In Oct - out of 300 chips 50 are shipped. Remaining 250 will incur a rental of 250 x 0.2 = $50  

In Nov - out of 250 chips 50 are shipped. Remaining 200 will incur a rental of 200 x 0.2 = $40
