1. Calculate Load Distance

a) Effort = 500 Newton, Load = 2000 Newton, Effort Distance = 4 Meter,
Load Distance = ?

Given,

Effort (E) = 500 N

Load (L) = 2000 N

Effort Distance (Arm) = 4 m

M.A = L/E

= 2000/500

= 4

If we assume that M.A remains the same,

M.A = Effort Arm/Load Arm

4 = 4/Load Arm

Load Arm = 1 m

The Load Arm/Distance is 1 m.
