1 Calculate the area of a rectangular plot whose length and breadth are 1 metre and 60

cm respectively.


2 Find the area and perimeter of the following figures. Which figure has the maximum

Answer:

first we will convert 60 cm into m

so 1m =100 cm

so it comes up 0.6

area formula =l×b

=1×0.6

0.6cm^2

(2)area of a=4×2=8cm^2

area of b=1×2+2×2=6cm^2

area of c=1×2+1×3+1×2=7cm^2

area of d=3×5=15cm^2 area of d is largest
