u(initial v)= 0 given

a= 5 m/s^2

first 8 sec : s=ut + 1/2 at^2

= 0 + 5×8^2×1/2

=64×5×1/2

320×1/2

=160 m

Distance covered in next 4 seconds : next part samajh mein nahi aa raha hai

Explanation:

so given,

initial \: velocity = 0

acceleration \:  = 5m {s}^{ - 2}

time = 8sec

v = u + at \\ v = 0 + 5 \times 8 \\ v = 40

s = ut + a  {t}^{2}  \div 2 \\ s = 0(12) + (5) {(12)}^{2}  \div 2 \\ s = 5(144) \div 2 \\s  = 720  \div 2 \\  s= 360

hope it will helps you h..... my friend....
