3)"The largest of the two pirate ships was commanded by a Japanese captain, who spoke a little Dutch, but very imperfectly. He came up to me, and after several questions, which I answered in great humility, he said, "we should not die." I made the captain a very low bow...."
Rather than killing Gulliver, the Japanese Captain decides to split Gulliver's crew between their two ships and to set Gulliver adrift in a small canoe with some food and water.
4) the largest danger to gulliver in brobdingang was from the dwarf
> he left him under an apple tree and shaked the tree in order to make the apples fall on him which stricked him in the back
>another time , gulliver is left outside diring the hailstorm and is so much injured that he cannot come out for 10 days
>and when the eagle grabs hold of gulliver and flies off with him , and suddenly gullier falls , then he thinks that he is dead and can't live further but he lands in water and is safe
5)Two months after returning to England, Gulliver is restless again. He sets sail on a ship called the Adventure, traveling to the Cape of Good Hope and Madagascar before encountering a monsoon that draws the ship off course. The ship eventually arrives at an unknown land mass. Gulliver is taken to the south coast, and both Glumdalclitch and Gulliver fall ill. Gulliver says that he wants fresh air, and a page carries him out to the shore in his traveling-box. He asks to be left to sleep in his hammock, and the boy wanders off. An eagle grabs hold of Gulliver’s box and flies off with him, and then suddenly Gulliver feels himself falling and lands in the water. He worries that he will drown or starve to death, but then feels the box being pulled. He hears a voice telling him that his box is tied to a ship and that a carpenter will come to drill a hole in the top. Gulliver says that they can simply use a finger to pry it open, and he hears laughter. He realizes that he is speaking to people of his own height and climbs a ladder out of his box and onto their ship.
7)In the country of the Houyhnhnms, Gulliver meets the species that is the most skeptical of him-and for good reason. Gulliver must do everything he can to separate himself from the Yahoos. It is interesting to note that from the very beginning of his time in the country of the Houyhnhnms, Gulliver strives to separate himself from his own species. When the grey mare tells Gulliver that he thinks his people are worse than the Yahoos, Gulliver is quick to agree. Gulliver seems willing to turn his back on the English people in favor of those he deems better than the English. Now that he has been exposed to many alternatives, he can think carefully about who to admire and what political systems to favor, and the English certainly come up short in relation to the Houyhnhnms.
