2. Hyposecretion of the thyroid gland in children cause CRETINISM, marked by short stature, delayed milestone development, lethargy, etc.

3. Pineal gland is a pea shaped gland located on the posterior surface of the base of the brain (hypothalamus).

It secretes melatonin which regulates the circadian rhythm.

4. Catecholamines are the emergency or stress hormones secreted from adrenal medulla.

5. Puberty is the stage in which secondary sexual characters like beard appears in boys.

6. During adolescence, the hormones secreted in females are Follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) , Leutinizing hormone (LH) from hypothalamus.
