1) On the basis of physical state of fuel they are classified into solid, liquid, gaseous state. Example: Solid:- ⟶ Wood, cowdung cakes and agricultural waste. Liquid:- Kerosene, diesel and petrol. Gaseous:- Biogas, CNG and LPG.

2)Common examples of solid fuels include wood, charcoal, peat, coal, Hexamine fuel tablets, wood pellets, corn, wheat, rye, and other grains. Solid fuels are extensively used in rocketry as solid propellants
