Answer:

In contrast to each other following is the comparison between present schools today and the futuristic school:-

In present schools there are real human teachers but in futuristic schools there would be a machine, robotic, artificial teachers.

In schools today teachers teach in a building away from home but in futuristic schools their school is in their house.

Today children learn together, in futuristic schools children leave by the rule 1 machine teacher per child.

In schools at present students  learn from and write in books, their teacher writes on a board and they write their homework in normal ordinary language whereas in futuristic schools, students do not have ordinary books and their teacher flashes words on the screen. Furthermore, they have to write in a punch code unlike in present schools.

And yes, there is a possibility that futuristic schools might be like this for humanoid robots may come in place as teachers.

Prior to the child's separation hewas very happy and excited. He was fascinated with all the things that were displayed at the stalls in the fair.

However, after separation the child just wanted to be with his parents. He missed them too much.

And yes the company of parents matter a lot for children to have fun.

I am only answering first question. Hope it will help.

Margie and Tommy had their schools in their respective houses. They studied from mechanical teachers who taught them from the computer screen where all the lessons appeared. The machines were adjusted to the learner's level and taught them accordingly. Margie's school was next to her bedroom. She had to write down her homework and test in a puch code in the slots provided. Sometimes their teachers developed bugs which took 1 day or even months to fix. The mechanical teachers showed them the results of their tests in a few seconds. This is just so different from what we see today. Today there is a particular building where all the students and teachers gather to study together. The teacher is a human teacher. He is very different from the mechanical teacher because he is a human. Whatever heights in technology the human beings reach, there will always be a huge difference between machines and humans. Humans can feel, have emotions think wisely and adjust according to the situation, unlike the machines which are programmed to do a particular job. Today in school we have children like us studying with us, supporting us, helping us in times. There are teachers who can evaluate a child's behaviour and emotions. They can teach us repeatedly until we understand fully. This is very different from the mechanical teachers which Margie and Tommy have. We get to do various fun activities in school. We learn to socialize in the school. We know how to interact with others around us. School is not just a building where people go to learn some particular subjects. It is the home of knowledge. A child can learn anything in the school, depends upon him/her. Infact we are told in how we should build our future. The futuristic schools will become a reality soon. We are progressing in Artificial Intelligence and technology. There is not much time left when there will be schools like Margie and Tommy. If we try to preserve this house of knowledge there is a possibility that schools like us would exist. But this is just a rare possibility. What we read in the chapter "The Fun They Had", I think can become true someday.
