1. Construct a ∆ABC in which BC = 4.5 cm, ∠B = ∠C = 50°. What kind of triangle is this?
2. Construct a ∆XYZ in which YZ = 6.3 cm, ∠Y = 35°, ∠Z = 40°. Measure ∠X. What kind of triangle is this?

Answer:

1) In this triangle ABC is have two equal angles which means it is a isosceles triangle.

2) In this triangle XYZ. Here we know sum of all angles of triangle is 180 degree..

Hence X + Y + Z = 180

X + 35 + 40 =180

X=180-75

X=105 degree.

And here in triangle XYZ the value of each angle is not equal to each other so this type of triangle is called scalene triangle.
