Construction of quadrilateral ABCD:

  • Draw a line segment AB = 3.5 cm.
  • With A as center and radius of 4.5 cm, draw an arc.
  • With B as center and radius of 6 cm draw an arc cutting the previous arc.
  • Mark the point of intersection of these arcs as D.
  • Join AD and BD.
  • Draw an arc with radius 4 cm from D.
  • Cut this arc from B with 5.6 cm radius.
  • This point of intersection of arcs is C.
  • Join BC and CD.
  • ABCD is required quadrilateral.
