\dashrightarrow Steps :-

  • First, draw a line segment QR of 10 cm.
  • Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point Q and draw a ray measuring 90°.
  • Then, take a compass and measure it as 8 cm and keep it's tip on the point R and draw an arc on the ray.
  • Now, join the point R where the arc and the ray meets.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\dashrightarrow Instruments used :-

  • Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements as per to the question. Also, the drawn lines should be straight.
  • Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays measuring some angles given in the question. It's also used to measure the angles.
  • Compass :- The compass is used to draw the arc on the ray by taking measurement as per to the question.
