if you want add up 3 then equation is :

3x/4 + 3 = 21

proof: 3x/4 = 21-3

= 3x= 18 × 4

= x = 18 × 4 /3

= x = 24

putting the value of x= 24 ,

3×24/4 +3=0

72/4 + 3 = 0

18 + 3 = 21 .
