To Find :-

  • Area ∆ABC : Area ∆DEF = ?

Solution :-

we know that,

Ratio of areas of two similar triangles = ratio of square of their corresponding sides .

so,

→ Area ∆ 1 : Area ∆ 2 = (side 1)² : (side 2)²

→ Area ∆ 1 : Area ∆ 2 = (3)² : (5)²

→ Area ∆ 1 / Area ∆ 2 = 9 : 25 (Ans.)
