Step-by-step explanation:

1+cosA-sin^2A = cotA

1+cosA-sin^2A = cotAsinA(1+cosA)

L.H.S.

=> cos^2A + sin^2A +cosA - sin^2A

sinA (1+cosA)

=> cosA (cosA+1)

sinA (1+cosA)

=> cosA

sinA

=> cotA

HENCE PROVED

L.H.S.=R.H.S

hope it will be helpful
