to \: prove \\  \frac{1}{ \cos( \alpha ) }  =  \sec( \alpha )  \\  \\  \: lhs \\ cos (\alpha ) =  \frac{b}{h}  \\ so \\  \frac{1}{ \cos( \alpha ) }  =  \frac{1}{ \frac{b}{h} }  =  \frac{h}{b}  \\ and \:  \:  \\  \sec( \alpha )  =  \frac{h}{b}  \:  \\ so \: lhs = rhs
