1. cosh (x) = sec α
cosh²(x) = sec²α
sinh²(x) = sec²α - 1 = tan²α (because cosh²(x) - sinh²(x) = 1 )
hence cosech²(x) = cot²α
that is, cosech(x) = +/- cot α
cosh²(x) = sec²α
sinh²(x) = sec²α - 1 = tan²α (because cosh²(x) - sinh²(x) = 1 )
hence cosech²(x) = cot²α
