To prove that,

(1+cot²A)sin²A=1

★Identites to be used:

cosec x=1/sin x

and 1+cot²x=cosec²x

Since,

sin x=1/cosec x

→sin²x=1/cosec ²x

PROOF:

LHS,

(1+cot²A)sin²A

=cosec²A.sin²A

=sin²A.1/sin²A

=1

=RHS

Hence,proved
