• The solubility can be defined as the maximum amount of a substance that can be dissolved into a given amount of solvent at a particular temperature.
• Sublimation can be defined as the process of changing from solid state directly to gaseous state, by avoiding the the liquid state.
• The saturated solution can be defined as the solution which contains the maximum possible dissolved solute under the environmental conditions (ie. pressure, temperature etc.) at which the whole solution exists.
• The objects which doesn't allow any light ray to go through it, are known as opaque objects.
• Diffusion can be defined as the movement of particles of a substance from higher concentration region to lower concentration region.
• In a solution, solute is the substance which is being dissolved and solvent is the substance in which the medium for dissolving of solute.

Example - In aqueous solution of common salt, the water is the solvent and the common salt is the solute.
