  • They are applied to the living tissues such as wounds , ulcers and skin surfaces.          

DISINFECTANTS :

  • They are applied to the inanimate objects such as floors , instruments , etc.

NOTE = BOTH HAVE SAME DEFINITIONS , BUT THEY DIFFER IN THEIR USAGE.
