  1. Everything around us comprises of Environment.
  2. The environment that comprises of all objects created by nature is called natural environment. It includes land,air, water, plants and animals.
  3. All living organisms are called biotic components. eg-: plants and animals. Non living organisms are called abiotic components. eg-: pen and pencil etc.
  4. Microorganisms are small living cells present in the atmosphere.
  5. Plants are called producers because they produce flowers, fruits, roots, leaves and stem which we and some animals eat means we are depend on them. Animals on other hand always consume their food from others like plants and other animals. That's why plants are called producers and consumers.
  6. When plants make their food with the help of sunlight, air and water. This process is called photosynthesis.
  7. First layer of the soil is called top soil. Second layer of the soil is called subsoil. Third layer of soil is called bedrock.
  8. Human beings depend upon animals for food an transport.eg-: Camel in the desserts. Human beings are depend on plants for food.
  9. People depend on each other for many things like for wood to make furniture and for jobs to earn money.
