Power is the rate of doing work
unit of power is watt.Power is defined as 1 watt when 1joule of work done in 1 sac

kaushikravikant: it is sec instead of sac
vikramman: i can under stand
kaushikravikant: It was my duty to tell you true
vikramman: cool
kaushikravikant: rate me
vikramman: im new how to rate

vikramman: sorry fd i have wrongly rated i will give u 5 star
kaushikravikant: oki

\large{\underline{\underline{\sf{Power-}}}}

It is defined as the time rate at which work is done or energy is transferred. The average power is defined as work by time. W to the total time t taken,

\sf{P_{av} = \dfrac{W}{t}}

Instantaneous power -

\sf{P_{av} = \dfrac{dW}{t}}

Work dW done by F force for displacement bdr→ is -

dW = \vec{F}. d\vec{r}

Also, it can be expressed as -

\sf{P = \vec{F} . \dfrac{d\vec{r}}{dt} = \vec{F}. \vec{v}}

Where v is instantaneous velocity when force applied is F.

- Power is a scaler quantity.

- Dimension = [ML²T-³].

- It's S.I unit is watt.

- Power is said to be of one watt is one joule of work is done in one second.
