54 arc minutes=54/60 degree= 0.9 degree....as 60 arc minute = 1 degree

1+0.9 °=1.9°

Solution :

We know that each degree is divided into 60 minute and each minute is divided into 60 seconds.

1 degree = 60'

* If you want to find minute then you should multiplied degree with 60.

1 degree = 60'

* If you want to find 1 Degree 54' then add 54' with 60'.

1 degree 54' = 60' + 54' = 114'

For finding the degree, we should do :

* Now, if you want to convert 114' into degree then divide 114' with 60.

1 degree 54' = 114'

Now, by dividing 114' with 60 then we get degree.

=> Degree = 114 / 60

=> Degree = 1.9 degree.

Thus, it is proved that 1 degree 54' = 1.9 degree.
