There were rich peoples in the society who receive privileges based on birth leading to the resentment among common people.

Due to this work, there was a high debt on the French monarchy. For the repayment of those taxes new taxes were imposed on the common people.

There was no division of power in the society. The third estate was depedended on the first and the second estate
