before the outbreak of the south west monsoon whole india suffers intense heat. north india experiences temperature upto 45°c as it has continental climate and the states near the sea suffers a mild summer with temperature between 30--35°c as it has maritime climate.it ends on july 1st when the south west monsoon winds enters the kerela bringing heavy rain and then going up.
