A seed is primary of two types :
- Monocotyledonous Seed.
- Dicotyledonous Seed.
Monocotyledonous Seed : A monocotyledonous seed has embryos that possess only one large cotyledon called scutellum.
Dicotyledonous Seed : Dicotyledon, byname dicot, any member of the flowering plants, or angiosperms, that has a pair of leaves, or cotyledons, in the embryo of the seed.
