The main parts of the human eye are the cornea, iris, pupil, aqueous humor, lens, vitreous humor, retina, and optic nerve. Light enters the eye by passing through the transparent cornea and aqueous humor. The iris controls the size of the pupil, which is the opening that allows light to enter the lens...

Answer 1:- The different parts of a human eye are:
- Cornea: The outermost thin, tough and curved transparent membrane over the front of the eye is called cornea. Light enters the eye through cornea. It helps focus light onto retina.
- Iris and Pupil: Behind the cornea is iris, a dark, muscular assembly. The centre of the iris is called pupil. The iris controls the width of the pupil, which controls the entry of light into the eye.
- Lens: The eye lens is a convex lens of variable thickness that focuses light to form a sharp image on the retina.
- Retina: The retina is a layer of light- sensitive cells covering the inside of back of the eye.
- Optic nerve: When light falls on a retinal cell, an electrical impulse from the cell is transmitted to the brain via optic nerve. The brain interprets the pattern of impulses and recognizes the image.
- Aqueous and Vitreous humour: Transparent fluids fill the eyeball, keeping its internal structure under pressure and in place. The fluid between cornea and lens is called aqueous humour and fluid between lens and retina is called vitreous humour.
- Ciliary muscles: It make the eye lens thinner or thicker to enable light from objects at different distances to be focused on retina.
