To find : v = ?

H(ima) = ?

We know that ,

1/f = 1/v - 1/u

1/f + 1/u = 1/v

1/10 - 1/40.15 = 1/v

40.15 - 10 / 401.5 = 1/v

1/13.31 = 1/v

v = 13.31

Also,

H(ima) / H(obj) = v/u

H(ima)/6 = 13.31 / -40.15

H(ima) = 6 × 13.31 / -40.15

= -1.98

H(ima) = -2
