Answer:

here is your answer:-

Explanation:

1) 1.Green manure- green manure increases the percentage of organic matter in the soil. The roots of such manures goes deep into the plant. These helps in the supression of weeds and the prevention of soil erosion. For ex:-clover , peas , winter wheat, etc.

2.Farmyard manure-Farmyard manure improves the soil structure and is used as a natural fertilizer in farming. It increases the soil fertility to hold more water and nutrients. It also increases the microbial activity of the soil to improve its mineral supply and also the plant nutrients. For ex:-dung , urine, etc.

3.Compost manure-Compost manure improves the soil structure and water and nutrient holding capacity of the soil. Thus, it increases the nutrient value and thereby improves the health of the plants. For ex:-decomposed vegetation , manures, etc.

2)Some advantages of irrigation are:-

  1. Irrigation makes it possible to grow cash crops which give good returns to the cultivators.
  2. It improves the groundwater storage as water lost due to seepage adds to groundwater storage.
  3. It improves the yields of crops which mean more income for the farmer people prosperous.

Hope this will help you.

Types of manures:

Based on the kind of biological waste material used, the manures are classified as:

Farmyard manure (FYM): It is the decomposed mixture of cattle excreta (dung) and urine along with litter and leftover organic matter such as roughage or fodder. The waste materials are collected daily from the cattle shed and stored in a pit for decomposition by the microorganisms (bacteria and fungi etc.). FYM contains nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium.

Compost: It is a mixture of decomposed organic matter derived from garbage, sewage, vegetable waste etc. the mixture is decomposed in pits and the process is known as composting.

Vermicompost: The degradation of organic waste through the consumption by the earthworms is called vermicomposting. Earthworms used in vermicomposting are Dichogaster bolani and Drawida willisi.

Green manure: It is prepared by cultivating fast growing green manure crops like Sunhemp, Horse gram, Guar, Cow pea before sowing of seeds. The fast growing crop is then ploughed back under the soil. Green manure enriches the soil with nitrogen, phosphorous as well as organic matter and provides protection against erosion and leaching.
