* They are separated by separating funnel or filter paper.

Homogeneous mixture...

1. Those mixtures in which the substance are completely mixed together are called Homogeneous mixture.

2. A homogeneous mixture has a uniform composition throughout its mass.

3. it has no visible boundaries of separation between the various constituents.

Example..A mixture of sugar in water .

Heterogeneous mixture....

1. Those mixtures in which the substance reamin seperate and one substance is spread throughout the other substances as small particles are called heterogeneous mixture.

2. A heterogeneous mixture doesn't have a uniform composition throughout its mass.

3. It has visible boundaries of separation between the various constituents.

Example..the mixture of sugar and sand..
