as far as i know, we learnt about the french revolution where the french were divided into 3 states. but the labourers, etc. didn't like this. so then they started their struggle for democracy. men and women all participated in the struggle. men even went for wars, destroyed the nobles houses, etc. women looted the bakeries for bread as the prices were too high for them to buy. so then raja ram mohan roy discussed how we could get free from the british in india. most of the people say that democracy has spread throughout the world through the french revolution.
