Static Friction > sliding friction > rolling friction

▶Rolling friction comes into play when an object rolls over the other surface and the points of contact have very less space and time to interlock hence the friction is the least.

Sliding friction comes into play when one object slides over the other and it has to be kept moving with the same speed. Thus, the points of contact do not have time to interlock and thus, the friction is more than rolling friction but less than static friction. The force required to overcome the friction when moving a body , is the largest because the points of contact are tightly interlocked with each other.
