there were mant causes for french revolution

1) the society was divided into three classes or estates first estate consisted of clergy, second estate cosisted of nobility , third estate consisted of peasants , workers, traders, merchants, teachers and the lawyers

2) people belonging to the first and second estate were exempt of paying taxes.

3) Third estate had to pay many taxes such as tax on land, salt, and they were forced to work without payment in case of constructing roads .

Ans2) France was ruled by louis 16. He believed 5hat he was the God's representative on earth and was not answerable to the people. He and his wife Marie Antoinette ruled like autocrats
