Answers
Answer:
1.:Major components of environment are; natural environment and human environment.
Natural Environment: Natural environment includes the lithosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere and the biosphere. ...
Human Environment: Human environment consists of the interactions and creations of human beings.
2.:The natural environment encompasses all living and non-living things occurring naturally, meaning in this case not artificial. This environment encompasses the interaction of all living species, climate, weather and natural resources that affect human survival and economic activity.
3.
The environment is the key to the existence of life on earth. But there is a drastic environment change due to global warming, excessive pollution, industrialization, etc.
The natural environment is a gift of nature and we need to conserve it for the benefit of life in the future.
Importance of Environment for life
An environment is a sole factor for the existence of life on earth. Without it, there can be no life on earth. In our solar system, there are other big planets but, have no life due to lack of environment.
Hence, even scientists are working on only Mars to create life on it as it has some suitable environment. This shows the importance of the environment for life & existence.
4.:Our environment is changing due to the increase in the temperature ( global warning) caused by human activities , such as pollution .
This change can be very harmful for us , and still it is.
This lead to the imbalance in ecosystem .
5.:How is the lithosphere important?
Don't miss India's superhits!
Lithosphere by definition is the rigid hard outer layer of earth. It is because of ‘Living Water’ that there is ‘Life’ therein.
Like 'life' visible through the the human elemental encasement, it too undergoes gradual change, from within: as invisible but ever present pranic energy.
Inner life becomes ‘visible’ as manifestations in all external alteration within the bodily elemental encasement: also called a kosha or sheath.
A Kosha is a covering of the Atman, or Self. Pranamaya Kosha is composed of prana, the vital ‘living principle,’ the force that vitalizes and holds together the body and the mind. “From that [pranayama] is dissolved the covering of light” (Yoga Sutras 2:52).
Having defined “lithosphere of earth and humankind, what follows is what many are seeking to know: Evolution towards Consciousness.
6.: It gives us life giving gases like oxygen for breathing of animal kingdom and carbon dioxide is inhaled by plant kingdom. ... Thus, atmosphere plays a very vital role and in its absence there won't be any life and earth will be barren.
7.: Biosphere
It is the narrow line of contact between the three spheres, and it is in the biosphere where all life exists.
All organisms, from the smallest to the largest, depend on each other and on the biosphere.
Living organisms are divided into two parts: the animal kingdom and the plant kingdom, and the three domains interact with each other and affect all life on the earth. For e.g., cutting forests leads to soil erosion, natural disasters destroy life, industries release a lot of carbon dioxide and cause global warming.
So to maintain a balance between the three domains of the lithosphere, the hydrosphere, and the atmosphere, we must use the earth's natural resources in a limited way.
8.:Negative points:
- Global warming is arguably the greatest cause of impact on the environment. The largest of causes emanating through CO₂ levels from respiration to more detrimental causes like burning fossil fuels and deforestation.
- Cutting down trees and littering have a negative effect on animals and plants.
Positive Points :
- Going green helps the environment by reducing the amount of pollution that enters the soil, water and air. By using alternative energy sources and avoiding the burning of fossil fuels, recycling and reducing waste and driving more efficiently, fewer pollutants are released into the environment.
- Protecting endangered species and cleaning lakes and seas have positive effect.
9.:Man modifies his environment to fulfil his needs and make his life comfortable. He also has modified his environment to adapt himself to the natural surrounding.
10.:
- there must be a constant supply of Energy (the sun is this source for all life on earth)
- there must be living organisms that can convert the energy into organic compounds (plants--Autotrophs--photosynthesis)
- there must be a Recycling of materials between organisms and the environment.
Hope it helps u:)
