When a teaspoon of solid sugar is dissolved into a glass of water then it means a homogeneous mixture or solution has formed as the sugar has completely mixed into the water. Therefore, we can conclude that there exists only liquid phase as the solid phase of sugar has also turned into liquid by dissolution.
