PHOTOSYNTHESIS : it is the process by which autotrophs prepare their own food by taking some raw materials like carbon dioxide and water from the atmosphere which is converted into carbohydrates in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.

RESPIRATION : it is a biochemical process in which the cells of an organism obtain energy by combining oxygen and glucose, resulting in the release of carbon dioxide, water and ATP.
