1.

A food web consists of many food chains.

A food chain only follows just one path as animals find food.

eg: A hawk eats a snake, which has eaten a frog, which has eaten a grasshopper, which has eaten grass.

A food web shows the many different paths plants and animals are connected.

eg: A hawk might also eat a mouse, a squirrel, a frog or some other animal. The snake may eat a beetle, a caterpillar, or some other animal. And so on for all the other animals in the food chain.

A food web is several food chains connected together.

2.

An endangered species is a species (a population) of animals, plants or other organisms that is in danger of becoming extinct. This could happen because there are few of that animal left, its predators have grown in number, or the climate that it lives in is changing, or the places it lives in have been destroyed.

Examples:

1) tiger

2) polar bear

3) Pacific walrus

4) Magellanic penguin

5) mountain gorilla

Various Human Activities That Affect an Ecosystem

1. Agriculture

2. Plastic production

3. Emission of Carbon Dioxide and other greenhouse gases

4. Destruction of the reefs

5. Production of Black carbon

6. Draining streams/rivers and destruction of critical fresh water aquifer recharge areas

7. Overhunting and overexploitation

8. Genetic modifications

How humans affect our ecosystem in a good way

Most of the time when you hear pollution being talked about you immediatly think of air pollution because it is the most commonly known form of pollution. Air pollution is caused by cars, factories and different types of gases. That causes the greenhouse effect.

An ecosystem is ... Eco means life.

An ecosystem is a community of plants, animals and smaller organisms that live, feed, reproduce and interact in the same area of environment.

Human impact on the ecosystem is something done by humans and gives the affect at the ecosystem like chopping down forests, and cars burning off greenhouse gases.Humans can effect the ecosystem in a negative way ,by pollution, waste dumping, over hunting of animals, over fishing, industrial gases, energy use and not using biodegradable products.
