1.  = \frac{3}{2} + \frac{2}{3}

 = lcm \: of \: denominators = 2×3=6

 = \frac{9+4}{6}

  = \frac{13}{6} (sum)

2.  = \frac{3}{2} - \frac{2}{3}

= lcm of denomiantors = 2×3=6

 = \frac{9-4}{6}

 = \frac{5}{6}  (difference)

3. = \frac{13}{6} ÷ \frac{5}{6}

 = \frac{13}{6} × \frac{6}{5}

 = \frac{13}{5}  (division)

2.  = i. Given= 6x=12

 = x=\frac{12}{6}

 = x=2

  ii. Given = \frac{2p}{3}=18

 = 2p=(3×18)

  = 2p=54

  = p = \frac{54}{2}

 = x = 27

iii.  Given = 2.5=\frac{y}{4}

 = y=2.5×4

 = y=10.
