Answer:

7/6

Step-by-step explanation:

1ST QESTION:firstly we have to add 5/9 and 2/9 the denominators are same so no need to take the LCM of the denominators

=5/9 + 2/9 = 7/9

now we have the sum of 5/9 and 2/9, now we have to take the output and divide it with 12/18 so it will be 7/9÷12/18

=7/9÷12/18 = 7/9x18/12 = 14/12 = 7/6

as you all know divide symbol is changed into multiply symbol while dividing two fraction and when we convert the divide symbol into multiply symbol we reciprocal the right fraction making it upside down and after doing the reciprocal we cancel the fractions like 18 come on the table of 9 and 18 comes on the table of 9 on the 2nd spot so it will be 7/1x2/12 so 7 multiply 2 is 14 and 1 multiply 12 is 12 so we have the fraction 14/12 the number 14 and 12 comes on the table of 2, 14 comes on the tabl of 2 on the 7th spot and 12 comes on the table of 2 on the 6th spot so now we will have the fraction 7/6
