It can be either yes or no. Because people who write the book putdown their thought process and view of society only applies to them or people with same interest. So, when it comes to informations we all knew and see a lot of opinions moving around a single problem. If we get headline in newspaper, whether it is same in all? Absolutely no right, one newspaper we'll find one view of the incident and in another news we'll find it completely different. So To conclude , not all information in books are reliable.
