1. Yes, I think Arunima was exceptionally brave. She did not allow the loss of her left leg due to a train accident to pull her down. Instead, she decided that she would scale Mount Everest and worked towards accomplishing the goal.
2. Arunima had no place for pity in her life. Determined to not let the unfortunate incident overtake her life, Arunima decided that she had to do something about it. She started training for her feat and under the guidance of Bachendri Pal became the first woman to climb Mount Everest with prosthetic legs.
