Answer:

The Raven and The Fox is a story about a fox and a raven which urges us not to trust anyone who is trying to deceive us. The fable begins with the raven perched up high in a tree, carrying some cheese in his mouth. The fox came up to the raven, planning a trick to steal the cheese. He cried to the raven, “Ha! how do you do, Sir Raven? / Well, your coat, sir, is a brave one! / So black and glossy, on my word, sir, /With voice to match, you were a bird, sir, /Well fit to be the Phoenix of these days.” The fox said these things to trick the raven and the raven fell for it, as he let out a great squawk and dropped his cheese. Thus, by showing off his voice, the raven let go of his spoils. The fox then grabbed the cheese and said, “The flatterer, my good sir,/ Aye liveth on his listener; / Which lesson, if you please, / Is doubtless worth the cheese.” Though the fox was very clever, I disliked how he deceived the raven to get food. Instead, the fox should have asked the raven politely, and shared the food with him. The moral of the story is don’t let flattery get the better of you, or people will take advantage of you
