Hi!...
I am giving you the steps to do so...
1. Draw a line AB=6.4cm.
2. Take a point P anywhere on it.
3. Now, from point P, with any convenient radius, daw a semicircle.
4. Mark them as any two letters. For example - Xand Y.
5. Now from X a the centre, more than the half and less than the full semicircle, cut an arc.
6. Now Y as the centre without changing the radius of your compass, cut an arc.
7. Make sure that the two arcs intersect each other.
8. Join the point of intersection and point P.
9. Mark point of intersecion with any letter, say Q.
QP perpendicular to AB.
