Let us assume that a body is moving with uniform acceleration in a straight line or path
So
Initial velocity =u
Final velocity =v
Time period =T
Distance coverd = S
Uniform acceleration = a
We know that acceleration is the rate of change in velocity
A= (v-u) /t
AT=v-u
v=at+u
Or
V=u+at
This equation is know as 1 equation of motion
