The consumption of electricity at your home for 1 day.

Suppose, Power of fan = 40 Watt

Average daily usage = 16 hours

Power of mixer grinder = 800 Watt

Average daily usage = 0.5 hours

We know that,

1 unit = 1 kwh

We need to calculate the consumption unit of fan in month

Using formula of consumption

$E_{f}=P\times t$

Put the value into the formula

$E_{f}=40\times16\times\dfrac{30}{1000}$

$E_{f}=19.2\ unit$

We need to calculate the consumption unit of mixer in month

Using formula of consumption

$E_{m}=P\times t$

Put the value into the formula

$E_{m}=800\times0.5\times\dfrac{30}{1000}$

$E_{m}=12\ unit$

We need to calculate the total consumed unit

Using formula of addition

$E=E_{f}+E_{m}$

Put the value into the formula

$E=19.2+12$

$E=31.2\ unit$

Hence, The total consumed unit is 31.2 unit
