1)The pressure exerted by a liquid depends on the height of the liquid column. Take a plastic bottle. Fix a small glass tube above the bottom of the plastic bottle. We should seal the joint of glass tube with plastic bottle by using molten wax so that water does not leak from the joint.

Take a bottle with three holes and mark them as A,B and C and tape the holes.Now fill the Bootle completely with water. Now after filling the bottle completely ,remove the tape from the holes.

We will observe that the water from the uppermost tube(A) travels shortest distance.Where the the depth of water near the middle tube is greater so water comes out with great pressure from the middle tube(B) and the lowermost tube (C) has greater length column so it has the greatest pressure and goes farthest from the vessel.
