1. Explain elaborately: liquification of gas by taking the example of carbon dioxide gas using

graph.

2. A neon - dioxygen mixture contains 70.6 g dioxygen and 176.5 g neon. If the pressure of

the mixture of the gases in the cylinder is 25 bar. What is the partial pressure of each

gases in the mixture?

both are of long answer type. people who doesn't know the answer dont need to say *I dont know* as an answer please move along..

I need genuine answers from people who know about it

and please answer only if you know both questions that's why I'm giving up more points than normal

Answer:

1. Liquefaction of gases is physical conversion of a gas into a liquid state (condensation). The liquefaction of gases is a complicated process that uses various compressions and expansions to achieve high pressures and very low temperatures, using, for example, turboexpanders. ... simple cooling; a few, such as carbon dioxide, require pressurization as well

2.The partial pressure of dioxygen and neon in the mixture is 5.25 bar and 19.75 bar respectively.
